2 HOUR CITY TOUR
The 2 hour City Tour promises to be a quick overview of San
Francisco. In just 2 quick hours you will see some of the most famous highlights in the
city. Included in this tour are an introduction to China town, North Beach, Coit Tower,
and Lombard Street.
A drive through the now famous Marina District. This was the location
of much of the disaster in the earthquake of 1989. We then travel on to the Palace of Fine
Arts. We will cross the World Famous Golden Gate Bridge and continue up to the Marin
Headlands. Some people say this is almost a religious experience seeing the Golden Gate
Bridge with the City of San Francisco in the background.
We then return to San Francisco
and take a quick look at the homes of some of the rich and famous in the Sea Cliff. Next
it is on to the Palace of the Legion of Honor with Rodan's Thinker out front. We flow
along to the magnificent California coastline and the Cliff House with a view of Seal
Rock. We usually stop for a minute for a photo. Next it's up through the Golden Gate Park
to the Haight Ashbury then to Twin Peaks.
We still even have time to catch a glimpse of
the well known Post Card Row at Alamo Square. This scenic view leaves you with a memory of
the Victorian style of homes here and the outstanding downtown skyscrapers. On the way
back to your hotel we point out the Civic Center and Union Square home of some of the best
shopping in the world.
